OUR STORY
The Beginning
I’m Daan, from the Netherlands. Hatsek started as a small idea about two years ago. Back then it was just me, a couple of designs, and a dream. I jumped in thinking it would all be easy, make some designs, print some shirts, and people would buy them straight away.
The reality hit quickly. I printed 25 t-shirts, but only sold two. At first, I thought the sales would come on their own, without much effort, but I realized how much work and persistence it actually takes to build a brand. My motivation started to fade, and I didn’t really push Hatsek any further. Slowly, it slipped into the background and became just another unfinished project.
But sometimes the right people come along at the right moment.
The Turning Point
That’s when I met Leo, someone from the UK. We never met in person, only online Until a year and a half ago. We spent hours gaming together, playing Rust, Fortnite, story games, you name it, we have played it. Somewhere along the way we became real friends.
One night, I told him about Hatsek almost as a throwaway. But he loved the idea and said straight away: “Let’s give this another shot.”
Leo brought his editing and creative skills, I brought my designs, and together we rethought what Hatsek could be. Not just a small clothing project, but something with real energy behind it.
For us, Hatsek has become more than just clothing.
We never wanted to settle for a normal 9–5 when we knew what we could create
It’s about starting from scratch, giving ourselves a second chance, and proving that with enough drive two people from different countries can build something worth wearing. It’s about mixing street style with performance and creating gear that works whether you’re in the city or in the mountains.
This is still the beginning of our journey. From late nights gaming to working on designs, Hatsek is growing with us and with you. Every piece we make comes from that same energy that pushed us to try again.
The Snowwear Evolution
Leo’s big passion is skiing, and that opened up a new path. We realized Hatsek didn’t just have to be about streetwear, it could also be about snow.
That’s how the idea for our snow pants and winter collection started. Clothing that can perform on the slopes but still looks bold and different when you’re off them too. It gave the brand a whole new purpose, and for the first time I felt like we were building something that connected with both of us on a personal level.
The Future
This is still the beginning of our journey. From late nights gaming to working on designs, Hatsek is growing with us and with you. Every piece we make comes from the same energy that pushed us to try again.
For the future, we’re not chasing profit or trying to be the biggest brand out there.
What matters is proving that we can create clothes people genuinely want to wear. Every sale means someone chose Hatsek to be part of their life, and that feeling is what drives us. We want to keep building, keep creating, and keep seeing our designs out there on people who believe in what we’re doing.
